Something Constant

"Four years of college, and plenty of knowledge, have earned me this useless degree!"
- Avenue Q

Okay. So I don't believe that college was completely worthless. I mean, I loved my major. How can you not love creating film and being part of a collaborative team? But now I'm out of college and feel a bit lost. It's surprisingly easy to lose touch with people, especially when you feel minutely socially awkard as I sometimes do. The creativity of those surrounding me while working on projects fueled my energy. It's as if I feed off that energy and once the source is taken away, I start to sputter and come to a halt much like a car running out of gas.

It's been tough getting myself motivated and the longer I'm out of the game, the harder it becomes. After all, I have to eventually find a constant job to support myself. I'd like to be able to make it on my own. So this blog is meant to give me some type of constant in my life that will help kick start my energy, motivation, and perhaps creativity as I write.

So look forward to my musings on different topics as pertains to my life at the time of blogging. Perhaps it will give me some insight to myself and help me move along the path to success.
